Sixth Volley: Translucent

12 Aug

Translucent: permitting light to pass through but diffusing it so that persons, objects, etc., on the opposite side are not clearly visible: Frosted window glass is translucent but not transparent Translucent can also be easily understandable; lucid: a translucent explication. Like Laurie’s excuse about why she couldn’t post last week is translucent. It is totally believable that she couldn’t find her photo cords buried at the bottom of her laundry basket for five days.

What I’d like to know is, what were those cords doing in the bottom of Laurie’s laundry basket?

Is she aware that they shouldn’t be thrown in the wash?
    :P
